Career Profile

Karl is holding a full Real Estate Agent's License and is a practicing member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland; additionally he was a property writer for a registered Queensland training organisation. After enjoying a successful career in banking for more than a decade Karl made the decision to move on to sell real estate in 1994. Constantly exceeding sales targets, Karl was put in charge of establishing a subsidiary office in Sydney in 1997, specialising in marketing Queensland investment properties. Within 2 years the office grew to 9 sales people and 15 telemarketers selling up to 25 properties a month. From here Karl was headhunted to spearhead the Asia-Pacific sales and marketing division of a major US property developer. Amongst others Karl worked successfully on the following projects; Bali - 4,000 lot subdivision and 500 apartments; Thailand - 500 lot subdivision, 800 apartments, 2 hotels and 320 berth marina; Vietnam - over 1,500 apartments, 300 houses, commercial and retail space, community and government facilities. Returning after 4 years Karl has since been working on residential projects in the southeast corner of Queensland; some of those projects were located in Fortitude Valley; St. Lucia; Toowong; Lutwyche, Caloundra and Scarborough. Karl is currently involved in marketing apartments at 16 Prince Edward Parade, Redcliffe; 12 & 14 Oxley Avenue, Woody Point; Coco and The Esplanade, Mooloolaba. Karl has also sold apartments in the Brisbane CBD located in River City, Festival Towers and Charlotte Towers. Karl has overseen the original letting of several thousand apartments in Charlotte Towers, Hamilton Harbour, Chelsea, Madison Heights, Brooklyn on Brooks, The Plaza, Oxford Towers, Cambridge Towers, Canterbury Towers, Aqua and Broadway on Ann.
